Here is a very cool Robber Fly (Tolmerus spp.) carrying some unfortunate little bee in its mouth. Robber flies are extremely fast and agile flyers. They got their name because they often will sit on top of a bee keeper's hive and nab bees as they leave the nest. In many species, the male needs to bring a food offering to the female during courtship. (And sometimes she still snubs him! Sounds like my... forget it!
