This is the amazing back of the Ghost Leaf Mantis (Phyllocrania paradoxa). Its elaborate headdress and shoulder shields make it blend in with dead leaves so perfectly, it disappears! The 'creases' in its wings are actually shadings of pigment - this thing is just built to look like a leaf. Be glad right now you're not a cricket!
